It’s squishy, messy, fun to make, and can even help you relax! Who doesn’t love slime?
Here’s one of our favourite recipes using Plaid Mod Podge.
What You Need:
Ingredients:
4oz (or ½ cup) Mod Podge Matte (SKU 911301)
1 Tablespoon of Borax (Can be an irritant to skin and eyes so children should be supervised)
1 cup of warm water
Tools:
Two large plastic bowls, measuring cups, tablespoon, popsicle stick or plastic spoon
Optional:
Plaid Folk Art Acrylic (SKU 900132) to add colour
Glitter or a small amount of Mod Podge Extreme Glitter (SKU CS15066)
Instructions:
- Pour 1 cup of warm water into a large bowl. Gradually stir in 1TB Borax to warm water until combined and set aside.
- In a second bowl combine ½ cup Mod Podge Matte and a couple of drops of Folk Art Acrylic Paint in a colour of your choice.
- Add Borax and water mixture to Mod Podge and Paint. Mix thoroughly with a popsicle stick and slime will form! Stir for one minute and discard excess water.
- Pick up slime and knead and squeeze over bowl to remove excess water.
Now it’s time to play, so add glitter, googly eyes and more!
Note: This project is to be completed with adult supervision.
Products are not for eating or drinking. Review and comply with warnings on borax, including keep out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes, and do not take internally.
